Stayed here for five nights with my daughter and we were so well cared and catered for by Habib who sourced gluten free Moroccan breakfast specialities for us. Zinah looked after us during breakfast and made us the most amazing meal for dinner, beautifully home cooked. We were grateful for Habib's help with organising an excursion to the Atlas mountains, with a kind driver and an amazing climb with a Berber guide. We were close to the Medina for shopping and meals and raw sugar cane juice! The Riad Roof terrace was an oasis of calm and sunshine at the end of each afternoon. We had a luxurious, clean and comfortable suite room. Truly spoilt, highly recommended!
Habib was incredibly helpful and informative about the city. He arranged for us to be met by our taxi, and walked us into the main square to allow us to get our bearings. On arrival he also went through a map of the city and highlighted places that would be best to see given the time we had available. He also went above and beyond helping us arrange our bus tickets to Essaouira.Habib ensured us the route to the central square was safe as the street is always busy. We often felt unsafe when walking back in the evenings and it became something we dreaded at the end of the day - but possibly this is a reflection of us not adapting quickly enough to the Marrakesh lifestyle!
We were not an easy group to accommodate as there were 10 of us and the group consisted of all ages from 9 months to 80 plus! We booked out the entire Riad. We could not have chosen a better place to stay as Habib, Hafida and her sister made our stay very relaxed, comfortable and welcoming. they were especially helpful with the baby and the grandma's. Habib took care of all our trips and excursions and no request was too big for him. the ladies in the kitchen cooked the most beautiful food and our rooms were always clean and tidy. They made a point of cooking different food each day. The rooms were all spacious and comfortable and the roof terrace made it even more special. We loved the fact there was the communal courtyard for us to relax and meet in as well as having our own space. It was my mother in laws 60th birthday the day we arrived and Habib even managed to find the most amazing chocolate birthday cake which wouldn't have looked out of place in some of the best restaurants in the world! The Riad itself is in an ideal location in the old Medina area. It was a 10-15 min walk to the main square through old streets and souks which just added to the Moroccan experience. There is plenty to do in Marrakesh and Habib was full of knowledge about what to do, how to do it and costs etc.I would recommend this Riad to anybody looking for an authentic yet comfortable place to stay especially if in a big group! We have already told our friends and families to visit Riad Davia and we hope to visit again in the future!Thank you to everyone at Riad Davia for creating a memorable holiday for us, big thanks from Kay and the family!
The manager, Habib was amazing, he was very helpful and accommodating. On our arrival, he took us on a small walk to help us get our bearings and gave us a really detailed map which he explained. The wifi at the property sometimes didn't work however this wasn't an issue for us. Habib helped us arrange our excursions and didn't charge ridiculous commission, which many of the large hotels do. I would more than recommend Riad Davia, it's a beautiful Riad in a great location, and provides an excellent service.
We booked last minute as we didn't know exactly when we would visit Marrakesh. I was traveling with 2 friends and 3 teenagers . We were met by the grounds keeper in the Medina who trolleyed our luggages to the Riad . My kids were amazed of how local we were. We got to a beautiful black Moroccan door only to be met by Hafida and family. The 3 ladies who took care of us for our entire visit . Cooking and cleaning and helping us with our Arabic/French . They were like family. The Riad was fully equipped , has 5 unique bedroomsA cute little plunge pool , outdoor lounging space as well as a roof top for sun bathing and if you can tolerate the heat a dining area . No problems with hot water or anything .Habib the manager was there every day to make sure any excursions were taken care of or if we needed anything . It was a Royal experience . We travel a lot and hardly repeat places , but my kids have asked to make this a yearly tradition . It was fantastic. Oh and there is also a small spa on site need to make arrangements in advance . Things to note : You are in the middle of the Medina/ souk Walkable to most attractions. You may or may not get a key - someone always here to greet you If you don't book the entire Riad , empty rooms may be rented .
Modern riad located inside the medina, rooms are clean, service is excellent and breakfast is good an included. Super price worth it! Bathroom is spacious, with a nice bath tope and a robe. The guy in charge is super nice and helpful, speaks perfect English.
The hotel takes good care of you: on the first night we were shadowed to the central square, to make sure we could find our own way to the square and back and when we had an early day trip to Ait Ben Haddou, we got an extra early breakfast (even though the markets weren't open yet). The room was nicely decorated (especially the bed) and it's very quiet (you only hear the calls to prayer, but not the rest of the city). The only thing is that it could use a little maintenance, like almost everything in Morocco. The hotel is located a little to the east of the medina. That gives you the chance to see a bit more of local life in Marrakech. It felt very safe. We walked everything, also at night and it was fine!We slept in room Malak, that was a pretty room, but the shower could use a curtain (everything got whet when we showered). I also saw the Mouloukya room, but that has the bathroom underneath the bed, I think it's not very suitable when you're tall.
This is a very nice riad, tucked away in an authentic area of town. We were luckily upgraded to a bigger room which was lovely and a treat. A few things in the bathroom weren't working properly and are in need of repair. It is a gorgeous place but could use some love. As with most places in Morocco, the mattresses are hard and could use a mattress topper. It is a bit of a trek into the souk and is out of the way but gives you great insight into the real city and how the locals live which we appreciated as it wasn't touristy. Definitely get picked up and escorted in the first time as you will never find it. We did feel a little unnerved coming back late at night by ourselves, but it was fine. Both breakfast and the dinner we had in were fantastic. Dinner in is a good idea due to the location. It was quite cool when we were there but I would imagine when it was warmer it would be lovely to lounge in the courtyard.
The riad experience was absolutely amazing, Habib and the other people working there were both friendly and accommodating. Habib even walked us to the centre on the first day to ensure we would not get lost and he arranged excursions for us (I would definitely recommend the Atlas Mountain excursion)! The riad itself was beautiful, it had spacious rooms, comfortable beds, a refreshing plunge pool and we certainly felt safe there. Finally, the delicious food deserves a mention The breakfast which was included was varying and tasty. Habib and I discussed via email and we agreed that he would serve a vegetarian tajine on the first night, with this we also surprisingly got a starter and some fruit and of course, mint tea! All for no extra charge. Our group eat out regularly but we all agreed that the food at the riad was nicer than any of the restaurants we tried. I would wholeheartedly recommend this riad!
My stay here was something of an wonderful experience. Such a beautiful traditional raid in the heart of marrakech. you are surrounded with luxury peace and quiet from the moment you enter the raid. I went with my friend here and it has to be one of the best places I have stayed at. Habib the manager of the raid made us feel so welcoming and looked after us so well. Service was of a 5* and he spoke fluent English which was of a great help. He went out of his way to make our stay pleasant. The raid is clean and the staff are friendly too, will definitely be revisiting again!
Me and 3 friends (all male) stayed here for 3 nights and I have to say it was amazing. Being in the heart of Madina we got to really experience the local environment and the real Marrkech. The Riad itself is very well laid out and is very spacious with each bedroom having its unique feature and theme. The cleaning team was great and it felt good coming home to a clean place after a hectic night out. The cook was also very friendly and produced some very tasty food. But the standout feature/person of our whole experience has to be Habib- the manager of the Riad. He made our trip that extra special from being very knowledgeable about the area and activities to being helpful and very caring and understanding. He was a brilliant guide to have there and I can honestly say that he became a good friend due to his kind nature. We will be visiting the city again in the coming months and there is no doubt in our minds where we will staying.
What a wonderful time I spent in Riad Davia. Our host, Habib was fantastic and made us feel right at home. Tucked away in the busy Marrakechi medina, it is an oasis of calm and relaxation. The food is to die for and the decor is warm and inviting. It was an absolute pleasure staying here and I would recommend it to anyone wishing to visit Marrakech.Habib, thank you so much for our stay and your hospitality- You are awesome!!
I had the pleasure to stay at this little corner of paradise in the middle of the medina in Marrakesh...From the time you entered the riad, you are surrounded with luxury peace and quiet..Habib the owner is a fantastic host with boundless energy and knowledge.I was there for my birthday a gift from my daughter and husband , he had a tagine made for us and a great bottle of wine. The room was big and cozy, the bathroom was absolutely amazing. This was the best place I stayed in Morocco.Thank you Habib for the excellent birthday , the excellent service and excellent food.....We will be back,
I stayed in the RiadVerry clean and QuiteIts in the real part of the medina where u can see morocain daily life and little local markets during the dayVerry Safe and the owner always give us the best advices where to go what to DoI highly recomend to try their kitchen The chef is amazingI ll definitly come back Again
Habib was a very welcoming host and made me feel at home :). This Riad is an amazing place, comfortable and beautifully decorated. My experience was so exciting. Lots of great shops and restaurants nearby. Definitely recommended it to anyone !!
After an intensive surftrip we spent our last night in Marrakesch at this relaxing place.Habib was a perfect host. He picked us up in the centre of Marrakesch and guided us to the hotel. He organised the washing of the rental car overnight so we could spend a relaxing evening at the market of Marrakesch which is only a 10min walk from the hotel. The hotel is quiet, very clean and impresses by its super chill atmosphere. The food which you can order at the hotel is delicious! We would go there any time again. Thanks Habib for your hospitality.
Habib was very helpful and made sure we had a great stay. He went above and beyond. The room was fab and had a cute balcony overlooking to courtyard. I would recommend arranging a taxi from the airport with the riad as well as it can be difficult to find the place for the first time. Really enjoyed our stay at the riad.
It was wonderful to stay at Riad Davia - it was a small oasis from the chaos of Marrakesh. We stayed initially for a few days before traveling to other cities in Morocco, and then we came back to spend the last few days of our vacation there. The riad is small, only 5 rooms, and it immediately feels very much like home. It is elegant in decor and it was perfectly clean. Habib, the manager, is so helpful. We could not accept his offer of driving us to the bus station and later to the airport (I have a back problem preventing me from driving in a car) so instead he took our luggage and met us there. He did us lots of these favors without expecting to get paid extra. And we had some very interesting and insightful talks about Morocco with him in the courtyard. If I go back to Marrakesh in the future, I will without a doubt stay there again.
This riad was very elegant in decor and charming. It was nice to come back from the chaos of Marrakech to a place of calmness and comfort. The breakfast was different both days and was definitely something to look forward to. Habib did a great job in managing to arrange a wonderful day out for the family. The staff provided excellent service! The location of the riad may seem hard to find at first but Habib the manager was very helpful that the location was not a problem. In fact it was better to stay in this part of the area because it felt more peaceful.
My boyfriend surprised me with a visit to Marrakech for my birthday. Usually I would choose our accommodation as I can be quite fussy about where I stay, so there was some pressure on him to choose somewhere I'd like, but Riad Davia didn't disappoint! Yes it's a little walk from the main square but we loved walking through the narrow streets with all their wonderful sights, noise and smells - and we liked not being in the most touristy area. The manager Habib was so helpful, making recommendations, booking tables, organising taxis - even a much needed pedicure on arrival! He made our trip feel effortless. The room itself was beautifully decorated, and the quiet was lovely to come back to each night. My only, very small, recommendation would be to make the dining area a little more cosy to match the feel of the rooms. Otherwise, perfect!
It was quiet and tranquil, and a little out of the hustle bustle of Marrakech Medina, although this was easily and quickly accessible by foot.

A typical maroccan Riad, very comfortable and clean. The host is very very kind, the breakfast delicious. The room great and full of benefits.
Beautiful Riad. Very friendly, helpful staff. A peaceful haven away from the busy souks in Medina..
Host Abdul and his mother and auntie were perfect hosts, very warm and knowledgable. Our room was very authentic and spotlessly clean, the communal area is also top class and very peaceful.

Very clean and comfortable. The hosts (there were two Habib, who was not there but was always available on WhatsApp, and Abdul who was present in the evenings) were both knowledgeable, helpful and extremely friendly and approachable. The breakfast was nice. All the staff were friendly and welcoming.
The staff was very helpful and really took care of us. It was very easy to communicate with them and explained a lot of things about Marrakech and Morocco overall. The place was tidy and clean, food was amazing and the location was also great as it gives you a good understanding of Marrakech by the time you get there walking from the main attraction points.
Very friendly staff especially Habib was very helpful. The Riad was very nice and the small pool was perfect whenever you returned to the riad and were very hot and needed to cool down your feet. Very nice morrocan breakfast.
The riad is very peaceful, chic and extremely tidy. The courtyard of the riad is a vibe honestly. And the interior of the rooms are great!
The host, Habib was very very friendly and of service when needed. He gave us a rundown of the layout of the city and the best way to explore each section.
the staff and welcome were perfect. the staff was always available and kind for every request. the structure, a few meters from the main square, is very beautiful and welcoming. our room was large and clean and had every need. I highly recommend this riad.

It has been truly exceptional. The Riad is beautiful, it is super super clean and it made our last night in Morocco a true wonder. The staff is charming, the girls are very friendly and the Manager has helped us with everything, even ordering us dinner with his phone and making it easy for us to get a taxi. Breakfast was also great. 200% recommended!!! we will return for sure! shukran
